Roof Protection System
Why use roof ice and snow protection systems?
Designed for Roofs, Gutters and Drainage Systems
DEVI roof heating systems are used in roof and gutter applications where snow and ice management is required during winter conditions.
The system can be integrated into a variety of roof constructions, including roof gutters, downpipes, flat roofs and valley gutters. By applying heating cables in selected areas of the roof drainage system, the solution supports temperature management in locations where snow and ice accumulation may occur, depending on roof design, climatic conditions and system configuration.
Typical applications include: Roof constructions, Roof gutters, Downpipes, Flat roofs, Valley gutters, Commercial and residential buildings,
Public and infrastructure projects.
How It Works
A roof ice and snow protection system uses electric heating cables installed in gutters, downpipes and selected roof areas.
The system is typically combined with temperature and moisture sensors connected to a control unit. When environmental conditions match the programmed operating parameters, the control system activates the heating cables. The generated heat supports temperature management in drainage areas and locations exposed to snow and ice accumulation.
System performance depends on factors such as roof construction, local weather conditions, control settings, sensor placement and installation design.
Automatic operation allows the system to respond according to configured environmental conditions, reducing the need for manual intervention.
