DEVIiceguard™ 18 (T) Drum Goods
DEVIiceguard™ 18 (T) is a self-limiting heating cable designed for ice and snow melting on roofs, in gutters, and in downpipes. The cable adjusts its heat output according to the surrounding temperature, helping to maintain operation under changing weather conditions.
The cable can be cut to the required length on site and installed directly on roof, gutter, and downpipe systems. DEVIiceguard™ heating cables must not be installed in direct contact with bitumen roofs.
For installation, self-limiting heating cables require over-temperature protection using a thermostat. The cable must also be protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a maximum trip current of 30 mA.
