DEVIhotwatt™ 45 (B) / 55 (B) / 70 (B)

DEVIhotwatt™ is a self-limiting heating cable designed for hot water temperature maintenance and other pipe applications where a defined fluid temperature needs to be maintained.
 
The self-limiting technology automatically adjusts the cable's heat output in response to local ambient conditions along the cable length. This helps support consistent temperature maintenance within the pipe system.
DEVIhotwatt™ can be used in hot water supply systems where hot water availability at draw-off points is required without continuous circulation of the entire pipe network.
 
All self-limiting heating cables must be protected against excessive temperatures by a suitable thermostat. Although the cable output decreases as the surrounding temperature increases, the cable remains energized and continues to produce heat. The installation must also be protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a maximum trip current of 30 mA.
 
DEVIhotwatt™ is not approved for applications involving drinking water.
 
Selected DEVIhotwatt™ variants are supported by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). An EPD provides quantified environmental information about a product based on a life cycle assessment according to applicable standards. EPD availability should be verified for the specific product variant.
